STRICTLY Come Dancing star Kevin Clifton was reduced to tears over a shocking family revelation.
The professional dancer, 40, is starring in the brand new series of the BBC’s Who Do You Think You Are.
During Kevin‘s episode, he travelled to Canada to learn more about his family.
While there he discovered he had a relation called Matooski.
However, he was left in tears after learning she had been subjected to racism.
Speaking to press, he explained: “It’s funny because I’m as far removed from Matooski. I’m a 40-year-old white man who’s a ballroom dancer.
“I’ve never had to experience any kind of prejudice or racism or anything like that. It’s just not something I’ve ever had to deal with.
“I felt very defensive and protective of her even though it was a long time ago. Just the fact that it was connected with my history.”
Kevin went on to admit he didn’t think he would get emotional on the show but found himself succumbing to it.
Meanwhile, Kevin’s partner Stacey Dooley recently gave fans a glimpse at their baby.
Stacey, 35, shared the sweet snap with her followers and wrote next to it: “Running round the country with u makes my heart full 
(and my schedule).”

Stacey’s fans were full of compliments for the sweet snap, with one writing: “Adorable picture!”
Another added: “Gorgeous pic mum’s rule x.”
